How to use the yes or no generator

Frequently asked questions
Is the answer really random?
Yes. Each result is drawn from the browser's cryptographically secure random generator, giving yes and no an exactly equal 50/50 chance. There is no memory of past answers, so every ask is independent — just like a fair coin flip.
Can I add a "Maybe" answer?
Yes. Tick the Include "Maybe" option and each ask becomes a fair one-in-three chance of yes, no or maybe. Leave it unticked for a classic 50/50 yes-or-no decision.
Do I have to type a question?
No, the question box is optional. You can just press Ask the oracle for a plain yes or no. If you do type a question, it is only shown back to you on screen and never sent anywhere.
Should I use this for important decisions?
It is meant for fun and for small, reversible choices. For anything that really matters, treat the answer as a nudge rather than a verdict — noticing whether you feel relieved or disappointed by the result can be more useful than the result itself.
