What is the difference between reversing words and reversing text?
Reversing words keeps each word spelled correctly and only changes the order they appear in — "hello world" becomes "world hello". Reversing text (character by character) would turn it into "dlrow olleh". This tool does the former; use the Reverse Text tool if you want mirrored characters.
What does "Each line" versus "Whole text" do?
"Each line" reverses the words within every line on its own, so a numbered list or a multi-line poem keeps its line structure. "Whole text" treats your entire input as one stream and reverses the order of all words together, collapsing everything onto a single line.
Does it change punctuation or capital letters?
No. Each word — including any attached punctuation and capitalisation — is moved as-is. Only the order of the words changes, so you may want to fix the odd comma or capital by hand for perfect grammar.
