How to use the world clock
- Watch the live clocks. Your local time is shown at the top, with a grid of major world cities below it — every clock ticks in real time, once per second.
- Build your own city list. Pick any city or time zone from the list and press + Add. Remove clocks you don't need with the ✕ button. Your selection is remembered on this device for your next visit.
- Read the details. Each card shows the local date, the UTC offset, the difference to your own time zone, and a ☀️/🌙 icon so you can instantly see whether it's day or night there. Use Copy times to copy a snapshot of every clock.

How accurate is the world clock?
The clocks are driven by your device's own clock, so they are exactly as accurate as your computer or phone. Modern devices sync with internet time servers automatically, which keeps them within a fraction of a second of official time.
Does it handle daylight saving time?
Yes. Each city's time is computed with your browser's IANA time zone database, which contains the complete DST rules for every region. When a city switches to or from summer time, its clock and UTC offset update automatically.
Is my city list saved anywhere?
Your list is stored in your browser's local storage on this device only. It is never uploaded, and clearing your browser data resets the clock back to the default cities.
Why do some entries name one city for a whole region?
Time zones are identified by IANA names such as “Asia/Kolkata” or “Europe/Paris”. Each name represents the entire region that has shared the same clock history, so one city stands in for every place that keeps identical time.
